I think it's pretty weak at RB. WRs are ridiculous though. How the fuck did Robinson make it back to you?

This league has some owners who like to pick QB's early. Its a real solid league, but some go away from the norm. Yea, my RB's are weak. I expected it with my strategy. I was going receiver heavy. Im just hoping I can get something out of them. I should be getting Terrance West when the waivers open doe.

10 team standard league. Auction draft. Team is a little funky, trying to work a trade right now for Greg Olsen since the person who drafted him doesn't actually want him.

QB - Tom Brady, Matt Ryan,
RB - Carlos Hyde, Lesean McCoy, Ryan Matthews, Charles Sims
WR - Deandre Hopkins, TY Hilton, Amari Cooper, Jarvis Landry, Larry Fitzgerald, Vincent Jackson
TE - Delanie Walker
K - Justin Tucker
DEF - LA

10 team half PPR. 5th pick, mostly autodrafted because I was playing in a basketball tournament at the time. Haters gonna hate.

QB - Ben Roethlisberger, Tyrod Taylor
RB - Carlos Hyde, Todd Gurley, Chris Ivory, Christine Michael
WR - Mike Evans, Brandin Cooks, Doug Baldwin, Willie Snead, Rishard Matthews
TE - Martellus Bennett, Coby Fleener
K - Graham Gano
DEF - Seattle

I think this team looks pretty good. How does an auction draft work? Is it like a blind bidding system?

I'd just roll with Walker if I were you. The stats between Olsen and Walker are not going to vary that much. Your WR core is dirty. If anything, I'd trade for a back as Hyde/Shady/Matthews are all injury prone.

Each team has a certain amount of money to spend (Yahoo default is $200). One person nominates a player at whatever price, ie OBJ for $50, and everyone can bid whatever they want until time runs out. You can also see who bid what. One annoying feature is that if a person bids with less than 10 seconds left on the timer, the timer resets to 10 seconds so the draft can take a long time.

Yeah I got good value on most of my receivers. I actually almost stole Brandin Cooks too, but didn't have quite enough money as someone else at that point.

I'm fine keeping Walker if I have to, but since that other owner legitimately doesn't want Olsen I figured I'd see what I could do. Backs are a question mark in general to me...it seems like most are pretty injury prone. The owner with Olsen also has Forte and while Forte is older, he is one of the safer RBs in terms of health imo. Might try to get him attached to a deal if one goes down.

I did one auction draft this year and I like that model alot.... it makes it so people don't just get players because of draft position and allows you to go get a player if you truly value them alot for whatever reason.

On top of that, the Jets don't "plan to" use Forte as much as the Bears did, but he should still get a vast majority of the touches. He should be productive and scaling back a little bit should keep him healthy.

Why would he not want Olsen? lol

He wanted Marty but was running up bids on other TEs and got stuck with them lol. Idk why he wouldn't want Olsen though.
