That cavs squad would have a definite chance against GS. Not many teams have four 20 ppg scorers and lebron and George's length would cause a lot of problems. Durant would get a lot of different looks on defense.
There is only so many shots. The problem is none of those 4 guys are as efficient at scoring as the 2 MVP's golden state has. Lebron and George close that cap with defense, but the other two don't play defense.
There is only room for 2 big scorers in this league. Bosh and Love and Thompson went to the way side. Its about the other functions your role players can do and what their scoring effeciency is. Curry, Durant, and Lebron are all excellent at getting lesser players good looks. Jimmy Buckets not so much, more a guy who stalls the offense, draws iso defense, figures out real late in shot clock he isn't going to get a good look, and dishes it to a guy who has to shoot. not all assists are equal.
Neither Thibs nor Hoiberg have an offense I have ever figured out how things are supposed to go. Hard to evaluate the players.
