The 1985 Bears had a much larger cultural impact, more than any other NFL team before or since. The Bears influence on American society reached well beyond the modest confines of professional football, fashion, music, body image, and much more. Of course the outrageous behavior bordering on all out rebellion, and public condemnation and joyous disrespect for all authority, right up to the point of Walter Payton asking President Reagan "How's Nancy" referring to the First Lady. Plus that fucking defense was epic.

The 85 Bears won the Super Bowl with the same starters they had for game #1 of that season... What's different in todays game with so many being injured?
