Shabazz will end up being a steal. With the right coach and around the right people I think he could be a superstar. His athleticism is off the charts, he can get to the basket, and he's a pretty good shooter at this stage. Needs to work on finishing and his defense but that will come in time. On top of all of that, rarely do you see someone, especially that young, want the ball in crunch time. I watched a few games where he would get pissed when he didn't get the ball in clutch time...I think that's an underrated attribute to someone's game. The only Ben Howland player I can remember in recent time that was as productive in his system as he was in the NBA was Kevin Love, most go on to have better NBA careers.

from what ive seen he didnt strike me as "off the charts" athletically

40" vertical. I consider that off the charts.

Just like Ronnie Brewer... well, Brewer had a 42" vert.

Anyways, off the charts usually means what it says. And an idiom stating there is a pretty measurable gap between a few players. 40" is not "off the charts", it's a top tier for sure, but let's not exaggerate.

Mark Anderson 2006 draft pick of chicago bears had a 42" vertical at 254 lbs, and that was considered off the charts for d-line.

If bigs don't fly off the board this year, Dieng or Olynik could be steals at our position.

High verticals aren't as prominent in football?

He was just dogging it :troll:

I guess that guy from greece has a promise from a team in the late first round and that skinny ass pg out of germany has a promise from a team at the end of the lottery.

i really like giannis (im a sucker for anybody that tall with ball handling/passing skills and thats athletic) but he is a project i think they'll take a more nba ready guy but i wouldnt mind if they drafted him at all

but i agree he could be a steal

Seems like Shabazz's stock is falling...maybe even out of the lottery. Scouts are really not liking his attitude or something.

among a few other things. I don't think he tested very well at the combine. 8-25 in spot shooting, something like 6.4 and a quarter without shoes(although with shoes, this is b/w 6'5 and 6'6 which isn't bad for an NBA SG)

To add, everyone knows about Shabazz's athleticism. I think the issue may be the fact that he may not be physically where he wants to be, partly because of the restrictiveness of Ben Howland's system.

Ugh, Dieng. Not what I want.
Well...according to your draft Dieng got picked at 15 so we can't get him at 20. :)

Withey + Felix

I like this scenario. Withey might need some time to get used to the size and speed of the NBA but this could be a great addition for the Bulls. He could allow Noah play the 4 when he's in and Noah's passing would be better utilized.

Who made this? Why would Washington use the #3 pick on a PG when they have a franchise PG? On top of that no way Anthony Bennett falls that far. I'm guessing you/this person doesn't expect John Wall to re-sign?
