I got a direct message on Twitter from the ChiSportForums user to check out this site. I'm certainly intrigued by its potential.

I also "liked" your Facebook page and I noticed that you are looking for possible bloggers. So I checked out your writers and the current podcast list you have. I'd love to become a blogger for you guys.

I've lived in Chicago all my life and I'm a Hawks, Bears, Bulls and Cubs fan. My favorite is still the Cubs. I grew up on the southside as a Cubs fan which was not always fun. I've since moved to all different parts of the city - luckily, I was not on the southside in October, 2005 when the Sox won the Series. I don't think I would have been able to handle that. I like to get to as many sporting events each year that I can pay for. I'm going to the Bears/Seahawks game this Sunday.

I could write about all 4 of the above mentioned teams, but I'd really like to investigate the idea of writing a blog about the Cubs and the NL Central in general throughout the baseball season (starting in spring training).

Would this be possible? What is the best way to move forward with this idea? Would you be interested in something like this?

Welcome dude! You can always open up a blogspot and just create your own blog. I had one for awhile that had 35-40 normal followers, but I was unable to keep up with the time commitment and eventually deleted it. Browse the site though. I'm new here as well. Seems like there are plenty of topics already here to be discussed.

Definitely open to the idea of you blogging. Seems you have good grammar from the likes of your opening post (that is usually #1 in terms of what we look for lol...as some people couldn't put together a coherent sentence, let alone one that is grammatically correct)
