Hi, all. I'm Joey Minutillo, 25, of New Albany, Indiana. During my Clark Kent time as a civilian, people know me as the cat who runs the internet sales department at a Toyota dealership. Usually smiling, always telling some out-of-step joke. The Chicago transplant who hides his accent to avoid the inevitable, "So, what city in Wisconsin are you from," questions Kentuckianans ask (Yes, I Kentuckiana is a region and yes, people around here assume that if your accent would suggest you're not from the area, you're certainly from Wisconsin or Fargo.)

However, just like Clark Kent, I do have my super hero alter-ego : Horrendously Obsessed Chicago Sports Fan. During my tenure at Ball State University (proud '08 graduate), I hosted a sports variety radio show with two hyper-obsessed Colts fans. I experienced Super Bowl XLI as a cook at a sports pub where I was the only person within 100 miles dressed in blue and orange, ultimately resulting in being doused with beer, chicken bones, and condiments. During Game 6 of the '03 NLCS, I still remember punching the wall forty-six times -- not after the Bartman/Alou incident, but Alex Gonzalez flubbing the double play ball crafted by God.

I've signed on as a blogger to share my insights and passion on Chicago sports from the unique perspective of a transplant fan. Living in an area that's dominated by college basketball and horse racing, I think CCS gives me the opportunity to interact with fans and writers that share my same passion. With that being said, expect a few articles over the next few days. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to spend the next 12 hours making graphs and charts exploring the likelihood that the Caleb Hanie will meander his want onto my Least Favorite Athletes list.
