With Whitehair Pick Bears Make Statement Changes Soon To Come

Before the Chicago Bears Finally made Cody Whitehair their second round draft pick this past Friday during the 2016 NFL Draft in Chicago Il., he was mocked by most to go in the mid to late first round. The Bears picked him with the 56th pick in the second round after trading down to acquire that pick and swapping with Seattle and acquiring their fourth round pick as well. This after already trading down in  ...

The 100th Gazillion Mohammed Wilkerson blog

It never ceases to amaze me just how easy it is to make perception into reality. The fact there are people out there that take advantage of people's wishes and manipulate them into believing unsubstantiated information into fact with bush league click bate material insults my sensibilities. I suppose for the common blogger the pressure to get clicks to advance in the world of blogging and hopefully one day ...

After the game, head coach John Fox didn't speculate on the severity of the injury. Now FOX Sports' Jay Glazer is reporting that the Bears don't think its an ACL injury, but rather an MCL injury. https://twitter.com/M ...

The Chicago Bears stable of linebackers increases with Sam Acho

The Bears added to the potential log jam at linebacker today with the signing of Sam Acho.  Acho was drafted out of Texas in 2011, and has played for the Arizona Cardinals the last four seasons.  He played defensive end in college, and converted to a 3-4 outside linebacker at the pro level. This move brings up a question about the number of players at this position on the roster:  Do we have too many lineba ...

Chicago Bears add more defensive back depth with veteran Alan Ball

The Bears slowly continue to add depth and competition in free agency, most recently with the signing of defensive back Alan Ball.  Ball has spent the past two seasons in Jacksonville.  Before that, he played in Houston for one season, and spent five years in Dallas coming out of the University of Illinois. Ball is just the type of corner Pace, Fox and Fangio like to use.  He is tall at 6'2, and can play pr ...

Should the Chicago Bears look at Garrett Grayson in the NFL Draft?

With all of the attention going to the top rated quarterbacks in the draft, there has not been a ton of conversation about the next tier of players. One of the main reasons for that is experts are saying this is an extremely weak draft for QB prospects.  You will hear names like Brett Hundley from UCLA, Bryce Petty from Baylor and Sean Mannion from Oregon State.  There is another name that Bears fans should ...

More free agent work needs to be done for the Chicago Bears

As we hit day nine of NFL free agency and inch closer to the 2015 NFL Draft, the Chicago Bears have put in work. While some may not think it is enough, they have picked up five players thus far;  four of which will be day one starters and one for camp depth.  Trust me, I get the anxiousness, but there is a method to Ryan Pace's madness. That said, there are still needs to be addressed.  The Bears have about ...
