Been following Chicago sports for many years. I have ties to Rockford, Illinois however have since been displaced in North Carolina far from Illinois. I am still an avid fan despite the geographical complications in following my teams. I am known as the internet’s #1 Rex Grossman connoisseur

    2011 Stats (530 AB):

    338 OBP
    .55 BB/K
    52% GB rate
    248 xBA
    6% SBO
    4 SB
    6% HR/F
    79% Contact Rate
    708 OPS

He’ll fit in to the offense perfectly.

he’s been on an offensive decline for years. Give him more than 400 ABs and he wanes.

Though, it’s good value for the money; an insurance policy having a 4th OF (who is arguably better defensively than any OF the Sox currently have).
