The White Sox calls in their ace in the hole in star pitcher Chris Sale in hopes to finally come out with a win on a Saturday when the team go head to head with the Toronto Blue Jays (45-37).

Sale was coming off of an injury before his last two starts in which his pitches have been hit more than usual in which he allowed 11 hits which is the pitchers career high as well as a career low of three K’s in six innings.

Sale is 6-1 with a 2.27 ERA on the season.

OF Adam Eaton returns atop batting order and CF.

Some other good news for the White Sox is that outfielder Adam Eaton(leg) will be returning to the White Sox lineup against the Toronto Blue Jays according to the team’s twitter page.

The scrappy OF will be returning to his rightful place atop the batting order in which he’s hitting .322 with seven RBI’s in the month of June. Eaton sat out of the outing against the Blue Jays on Friday because of Sox manager Robin Ventura being worried that he will further his injury to his leg and the team may lose him for 15 days (DL). Better safe then sorry.

The White Sox “MVP” in SS Alexei Ramirez will be sitting out Saturdays game against TOR, Leury Garcia, who filled in for the injured Eaton Friday night at Center field and atop the batting order, will play short-stop and bat ninth for the ball club.

Sox batting order for Saturday’s outing is:

Adam Eaton

Gordon Beckham

Connor Gillaspie

Jose Abreu

Adam Dunn

Dayan Viciedo

Alejandro De Aza

Tyler Flowers

Leury Garcia

Hopefully the Sox can pull out a victory, as the team has struggled to win on Saturdays this season. The White Sox are currently 5th in the AL Central and are 8.5 games back of the leading Detroit Tigers. Win tonight and they can possibly pass the Minnesota Twins, who are 8.0 games back.

Make sure to check out our WHITE SOX forum for the latest on the team.
