The Chicago Bears are moving quickly on possible head coach candidate John Fox who mutually left the Broncos on Monday.
According to Adam Jahns, the Bears will interview Fox on Wednesday for their head coaching position. Fox and the Broncos parted ways after just four seasons. The Broncos reached the playoffs all four years including a Super Bowl appearance last season. He’s 119-89 in his coaching career.
The Bears interviewed candidates Doug Marrone and Teryl Austin on Tuesday. The team also interviewed Todd Bowles last week, but according to reports Bowles will be the New York Jets head coach.
Fox has ties to Chicago working with consultant Ernie Accorsi for four years. He’s also worked with Sean Payton who GM Ryan Pace has a connection to during his time with the New Orleans Saints.
