Chicago Bears agree to deal with John Fox

John Fox has agreed to become the new head coach of the Chicago Bears.

The two parties met Wednesday afternoon and have officially agreed to a 4-year-deal, according to sources. Fox  will be the 15th coach in Chicago Bears franchise history and is replacing Marc Trestman who the Bears fired this off-season.

Fox and the Denver Broncos mutually agreed to separate after the teams loss to the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, putting Fox in the market. He instantly became one of the top coaching candidates and the Bears wasted no time showing interest in him.

Fox is 119-89 in his career with the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos including two Super Bowl appearances.
