The Chicago Cubs are in the middle of an offseason filled with tons of excitement as they came off an NLCS appearance. On Tuesday night, first baseman Anthony Rizzo made his attempt at impressing the Chicago Blackhawks brass at earning a roster spot.
Okay, maybe not. But Rizzo was in attendance for the Blackhawks win over the Nashville Predators and shot the puck during an intermission period.
Thankfully for the Cubs, Rizzo is a better first baseman than he is hockey player:
While Rizzo’s shot was juuuuuust a bit outside they did him an honor by playing Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood”, which is his walk-up music.

Don’t worry Cubs fans, baseball season is right around the corner.
