The IceHogs hosted the Cleveland Monsters for a mid-morning game today. Netminder, Jeff Glass, for the IceHogs, held off all 37 shots the Monsters sent his way. Tyler Motte scored for the Hogs one minute into the 2nd frame and an empty netter by Martin Lundberg, late in the 3rd period, sealed the win.
Three Stars of the Game were – #1 Jeff Glass, #2 Tyler Motte and #3 was Martin Lundberg. This makes 4 wins in a row for the IceHogs and they have moved out of the Central Division basement into 7th place.
A little IceHogs Trivia…the Monsters’ roster today contained 2 former IceHogs players, Akim Aliu, Alex Broadhurst and Ryan Stanton.
