While the Chicago Bulls are in the middle of a big rebuild with the key pieces being Lauri Markkanen, Kris Dunn and Zach LaVine, all whom they acquired in the Jimmy Butler deal.
Dunn has showed some promise and LaVine just made his season debut a few nights ago. But the biggest prize in that trade might come in the form of Markkanen.
The rookie has had a fantastic season and has put himself in the conversation to win Rookie of the Year in a loaded draft class. On Monday against the Miami Heat, Markkanen made some NBA history.

Yep, that’s right. Markkanen became the fastest player in NBA history to make 100 three-pointers, taking him just half a season to do so. That’s faster than Steph Curry, Ray Allen and Reggie Miller.
We’d say that’s some pretty elite company.
