Khalil Mack Shares Farewell Thank You Message to Instagram

Khalil Mack took to Instagram to issue a very thoughtful farewell message to Chicago and it’s fans. He also attached an awesome video by DaWindyCityProdz. When healthy, Mack was a problematic, dominant force to be reckoned with. He would terrorize the likes of Aaron Rodgers, Matt Stafford, and Kirk Cousins during his tenure in Chicago. He quickly became a fan favorite as his jersey was amongst the top sellers in the league.

His 12.5 sacks in 2018 helped lead the Bears to an NFC North title and without the double-doink, a Super Bowl appearance (I’m biased…very biased). The 2021 season he only appeared in 7 games totaling 6 sacks. His counter-part Robert Quinn would break Richard Dent’s sack record of 17.5 in 1984. Quinn’s emergence after a down year and Ryan Poles re-structuring of the roster is the reason for Mack’s departure to the Los Angeles Chargers.

With that said, we salute Khalil Mack for his time in Chicago and wish him well in Los Angeles. However, should we meet in the Super Bowl (I may be drunk), Justin Fields will rain 6 TD’s on your team. My only would in this made-up scenario would be that Justin Herbert doesn’t rain 7 TD’s on us.

Been following Chicago sports for many years. I have ties to Rockford, Illinois however have since been displaced in North Carolina far from Illinois. I am still an avid fan despite the geographical complications in following my teams. I am known as the internet’s #1 Rex Grossman connoisseur
