Rose Throws Down a Nasty Dunk Against the Celtics

The first ever Five Star Athlete of the Week is…..

Derrick Rose, PG Chicago Bulls.

Rose had an exceptional week last week, including a career high 39 points against the Boston Celtics.

Rose started the week off hot, scoring 26 points in Toronto to give the Bulls a one game lead for the eigth spot in the playoffs. In three must win games starting with Toronto he scored 26, 39, and 27 in the final game in Charollette.

It’s evident that without Rose, the Bulls would be no-where near the playoffs.

In Game one of the Eastern Conference playoffs, Rose flirted with a triple-double. He scored 28 points,  dished out 10 assists, and grabbed 7 rebounds.  He brought the Bulls back from down 22, to down 7 in the fourth quarter. Although the Bulls lost, Rose tore up the Cavaliers defense.

Congratulations to Derrick Rose for being the first ever Five Star Athlete of the Week.

–Zack Pearson, CCS.
