Is Monday Night Football the beginning of the end?

If Mitch and the offense don’t bounce back in a BIG way on Monday is it the official beginning of the end not only for this season but for Mitch? I definitely think so. Preseason is officially over AND the Redskins aren’t exactly the 2001 Baltimore Ravens on defense. It’s time for the “O” to PRODUCE

If there was another option at QB then I could see it happening, but unless they bring in another QB in I don't see them benching him for Chase..

More then likely he is getting the entire season...

I remember you predicted a 90% chance they'd pick in the top 10 in the 2019 draft.

You not liking the Bears' chances is good luck.

Do you disagree that the offense would need to get much better for them to make the playoffs?

No, but I'm just saying that whenever you say "for the Bears to do well, insert x will need to happen," that thing usually ends up happening.

I remember that Khalil Mack was acquired after you said the whole 90% thing.

It COULD however be the begining of a positive trend. How positive is TBD.
I am pretty positive. Of what I am not quite sure......but dammit I am positive.

I think Mitchell goes for 240 yards and 1 TD. Good enough for the apologists to say he’s improving. Bad enough for the negative Nancy’s to keep bitching.

I didn't think you were the superstitious type.

The offense sucks. If it doesn't dramatically improve, they won't go anywhere. What I say won't affect it. It's down to them to get better.

You've been in the negative Nancy corner champ, don't act like you haven't.

Believe it or not, hate it or not, Mitch is getting 14 more regular season games to start plus postseason, as the starter.

No matter what the result. He isn't getting benched.
I don't see it happening but saying "no matter the result" is where this post goes wrong. It's unlikely that he'll have 3 straight games of generating no passing TDs and not getting 100 yards passing until the last minute but IF that were to happen, he wouldn't make it to mid-season. Last weeks level of ineptitude is the kind of play they will not let fly all season. 2 TDs in his last 5 starts, this poor play didn't start with the Eagles. His leash isn't as long as people want to believe.

Not unless the offense dramatically improves.

You mean like they did in Week 4....after looking like ass for three games.....just last year?

Seriously, how do most of you not remember it took a month for this team to start rolling LAST damn season???
