Rewatching this one is a pure joy. I was working at a nuclear project in south Texas at the time and surrounded by Dallas fans talking shit about this was going to be the end of the Bears undefeated season. Not one of them would put money on the game.

In today’s NFL, there’d be a penalty on every play, and I miss John Madden...

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bears
Lol Bears fans are the only fan base that still talks about the glory days 30 plus years ago.
Nothing wrong with still enjoying the greatest season of ANY team EVER!

Hell I was just thinking about trying to find/buy the complete "85 season and watching a game a week especially with this season looking very bleak.

I got my off of EBay years ago but I saw a packaged box set in a FYE Store about 5 years ago. Also Ten Yard Torrents should have them as well

I enjoyed that whole year but the GB game was my favorite. I think we knocked out of their 3 QBs and one had to go back in and his eyes said it all. He did not want to be there. lol. It was great.

Otis Wilson: "better get another quarterback in there!"
[barking sounds]

they were such a colorful team. I need to watch Pure Payton again now.
