The thing is, he doesn't have to learn a change....he already has one. Used it in Boston for two years. In his time with the Cubs he's never used anything but a FB and a hook....sounds very much like a guy who pitched here named Grimm. Plus he's getting Grimm-like results, sporatic control and a penchant for giving up the long ball. Two pitch pitchers are usually disasters waiting to happen. I think he needs some coaching.

I've noticed that also. It is either the gas or the hammer with him.

He should be going gas and choke and setting up the hammer for the knock out.

To me this is more about messing up timming and forcing weak contact. If the K is on the table then sure pull out the hammer.

Cain decided to quit the season. I would say it is 60% likely this gets shut down.

Cardinals are up to 3 players and 5 staff who have tested positive. There is a rumor that they partied at a casino recently. They will be the f'ing team that shuts this all down.

If they did that, they should be DQ'd from the season.

I'd say it's higher than that. The snowball is just starting to roll downhill.....I brought this up a few days ago. Everybody getting their panties in a bunch over the bad bullpen....why? I'd guess once it's shutdown that none of these numbers are gonna count. This is more like a ST redo than anything else. The only way it keeps going is if a legion of minor leaguers step in to fill the void caused by the infected and the millionaire opt-outs. Are we really interested in seeing that?

I had a feeling that Chatswood was going to have a break out this season. His stuff was never in question.

In my heart, Grace will always be the best D first baseman in my Cubs life. But, pretty sure Rizzo is better

Grace was always smooth as silk.....Rizz not so smooth but I think he makes more plays.

I don't recall ever seeing a worse bullpen. That's no exaggeration. This is positively brutal.
