I have never been this out of the loop for a fantasy season ever. I normally read shit all summer, just couldn't get into it this season. There are a few sleeper guys who I like who I think are going way to low and are solid value. (we're talking like 6th, 7th, 8th round)

- Devin Singletary
-Keenan Allen
-Levon Bell (I'm not a HUGE fan, but he's great value in the 5th).
-Rookie Trio of JK Dobbins/Cam Akers/Jonathan Taylor (wouldn't take them all, but I want stock in one of them in all leagues)
-Diontae Johnson
-Evan Engram

Who should my next pick be? my pick is coming in 4 picks(in a league where we are texting in our picks so there’s some long delays). Available is Swift, Monty, Gallup, AJ Green, deebo Samuel, Mark Ingram, and hollywood brown. My roster so far is...

qb - Lamar jackson
rb - dalvin cook
rb - James Conner
wr - Chris Godwin
te - Darren Waller
flex - jk dobbins

Who did you snag? I probably would have went best available WR. AJ Green is intriguing, but I probably would have went hollywood brown even though I hate the offense he is in.

I went with Deebo. Hoping he’s healthy, if he is...could be a steal where I nabbed him I feel

I actually did get all three rookie rbs in my last draft because of how the draft went. I took Taylor because there was a run on rbs and he was what was there, but akers was there in the 7th and dobbins in the 10th. Couldn't pass on that value.

I don't necessarily have "guys," it's more how the draft goes.

Just to add to this now that we've had our draft, I'm out on Bell and Engram. Bell is a good RB with the worst coach on a bad team. Gase is terrible (and I wanted him for the Bears), and for some reason hates Bell. Engram, no thanks. Dude gets hurt and is inefficient. Give me Hurst or any other of the young late round tight ends.

Love Singletary at his value. I'm all in on Taylor. He could be a league winner. No way Mack is keeping him from stealing that job. Might be the lead back by week two honestly. Diontae Johnson is one guy I've targeted late. High marks in reception perception and could be one of the bigger steals. Other guys I like at their value are Zack Moss (seems the bills love him, even though I'm a singletary fan, he might just be their satellite back. If I miss on Singletary, I aim for Moss), Calvin Ridley, Lockett, Wentz, Diggs (everyone hates him because of Allen, but the guy might make Allen better, same issue with Keenan Allen), and AJ Green. Guys a stud when he plays. You get him in 8th round and it's 100% worth it, even if he isn't the old AJ Green.

Thought I'd throw this out there. All like/fade thoughts are based on where they are being drafted. It's not like I fade someone because they are bad, but rather they are going sooner than I think they should.

RB - Gotta go early because things really dry up. Preferably the first two/three picks go RB.

Like - Sanders, Henry, Conner and Mixon, Dobbins, Moss
Fade - Chubb, CEH, Bell, Ekeler, Singletary

WR - Wait on this position group. Really deep. Typically I get at least 2 RB before I look at this group.

Like - Hill, Evans, Moore, Beckham, Ridley, Woods, McLaurin, Chark, Lockett, Allen, Gallup, M. Brown, Fuller, D. Johnson, P. Williams, Slayton and Kirk.
Fade - Goodwin, Golladay, Hopkins, Cooper, Juju, Kupp, Diggs, Hilton, Green and Boyd

TE - Go early for the big 3 or wait until way later.

Like - Kelce, Kittle, Andrews, Higbee, Hurst, Smith, Jarwin and Graham.
Fade - Hooper, Henry, Gronk, and Fant

QB - Unless you are in a 2 QB/Superflex league this is a position group you should really avoid drafting before round 8.

Like - Ryan, Cam, Big Ben, Goff, Rodgers, Jimmy G, Carr and Cousins
Fade - Murray, Brady, Jones, Tannehill, Bridgewater and Burrow.

IMHO Moss has a lot more value than Singletary.

Singletary only had 2 red zone carries last year, has ball control issues and isn't really a good receiver. Moss is bigger, more athletic and actually a better pass catcher. I'm predicting them to split the carries, but Moss will be used more on 3rd down and goaline, so just a higher chance for a reception (meaning a full or 1/2 point) or a TD.

Singletary will get work, but thinking he's more of a between the 20's type guy.

After watching the game last night, I'm glad I have Will Fuller in at least one league. He is the clear WR1 on that offense. 33% of targets. He had a solid game and he should have had a huge TD if Watson didn't underthrow him. Could be a good trade target if you're light on WRs and have an expendable RB.

I think it has more to do with him being basically the only one familiar with Watson. I guess Stills is too. I'd expect Cook to slowly integrate himself, but this was a bad offseason for WRs that switched teams, rookie WRs as well. Probably gonna take a little time for all those guys, save maybe Hopkins. Dude is so good he can overcome the short offseason, I just wouldn't be surprised if he gets off to a slow start.

Disagree on how you feel about some of the players, but I 100% agree with the process. I essentially deploy the same line of thinking in my drafts, but I have no problem reaching for a guy I feel strongly about either. I just try not to go too early and draft them 3 rounds before I need to or something.

What didn't you agree with? Happy to discuss the reasons why for any of my calls.

Just disagreement on a few players. I'm not big on Henry and Evans, for instance, and I like CEH and Green where they're going. That said, we have pretty much an identical process.

Green is an intriguing one this year. I didn't have the balls to draft him, but he was pretty low risk with where he was going.

So many different dynamics at play - Rookie Qb, health concerns, young coach. He is also an incredible talent though.
