Has anyone watched his documentary?

The Chicago sports personality I would compare him to is Michael Jordan, with a splash of Dennis Rodman.

He had a little too much fun to go unnoticed but his greatness bent the media because everyone wanted to be on his good side.

He was too great for his own good.

And on the pitch, the similarity includes the opposition resorting to just fouling him. At some point they had no hope of competitively stopping him, so they just started testing his resolve and durability, administering hard foul after hard foul.
