Because he'll be on a losing team where he has no pressure again?

Yes and no.

I believe if he came over in a lesser trade it would have been better for him. When you are expected to perform at a ace level because a team over paid for you it is unrealistic expectations placed on him .

We always talk about value in deals. Theo paid ace value in a trade. Q never was a ace. The fault was in the buyer. Then we as fans came in expecting that value in return. Then Q was pressured to perform at a higher level then he has ever done before based off a poor decision.

So it is a yes and no thing for sure. There will be lower expectations and let's face it. Pitching at the majors regardless of the environment is pressure to perform. But to perform over your talent level was the real issue and it was not his fault.

Quintana has ant balls. That's really what it comes down to.

Angels need pitching badly. Have wasted all of Mike Trout's mvp seasons, just one playoff appearance to his name.
