Simmons is great in the regular season. He's basically Ronnie brewer in the playoffs though. I don't need an empty roster spot once the team is competitive and in the playoffs again

Never was a Zach fan so am bias. Bulls do need a point guard cause Coby White is not it.

Simmons is only 24

He lacks the mental confidence. Should ask Tom Brady to hook him up with Tony Robbins to strengthen that side of things.

Still, only 24....

Ben Simmons$30,559,200$33,003,936$35,448,672$37,893,408$40,338,144
Zach LaVine$19,500,000$19,500,000$0$0$0

Including 2020-21 season.

Only +/-14 million difference. Am sure Bulls have 14 million in dead weight bodies they can unload to even the finances.

That being said, Simmons is only 24 and 3 time all star. The only benefit to Zach is he is a 2nd tier NBA baller who is willing to play for the Bulls. Sixers will want another body, Bulls can add in Coby White.

Simmons hasn't improved his perimeter game and has had lots of time to work on it. He's either unable to or not interested in doing it. He's been worthless in the playoffs for this reason. This would be a horrible trade.

I personally think it’s a win win for both team. Thoughts??
I think it would be any attic. I got you can’t make threes can’t make free throws and freezes up in the fourth quarter games? Why in the living hell would anybody want that?

One isn't afraid to take a 100 shots in a game while the other passes up easy dunks. Seems legit

Right, but the Bulls are going to have to pay LaVine who is going into his final year.

I'm not opposed to trading LaVine.... but not for Simmons.

Bulls should trade everyone and go the OKC route. Plus, tank hard, get high picks for the next 5 years. They have no chance at competing for a title for at least another decade+ on their current trajectory. Zach, Nikola and Lauri aint getting it done. AND Im being optimistic. Those firsts to Orlando were dumb.

Lonzo does nothing for them. I mean sure they could scrap a playoff team together or even be in range for a play in spot, but meh. Lonzo probably goes to Charlotte right. Bulls probably go After Dennis Schroder and JJ Reddick. JJ probably heads to LA though. So maybe the Bulls pursue someone like Kelly Oubre Jr instead.

I guess if Kawhi Leonard opts out and wants to go to the bulls, that would change things, but I doubt that happens. For shits sake I give it a 1% chance. HOPE

Sato, coby, and aminu for Simmons and a first round pick is the only trade the bulls should consider for Simmons
