I think secret weapon Yermin Mercedes is almost back.

He's doing good work in AAA and they are nurturing the situation to bring in a little tension and excitement to see if they can recreate his hot start with some feel good pinch hits come playoffs.

Tony has seen it all, and this non-competitive extended period is often hard to navigate.

Playoffs will soon be here and you have to flip a switch. Baseball might be the hardest sport to do that, so I'm interested how he gears them up these last few weeks.

Maybe LA Russa lost Sox 5 games this year, but did he win them 10?
