ZL just put a “Lillard logo 3” right in Lillards eye

I’m guessing coby is on the bench after this TO concludes

If that's what it takes for Bradley to score, I'll take it.

Lavine now is tied with Durant for the most 20+ point games this season

Is it just me or does it seem like the Bulls are getting home towned by these officials? I don't have the box score in front of me but it seems like the Blazers are getting to the line a lot more than the Bulls are.

I dont think LaVine thought he'd be that open.

Knew this one was going to be tough. Portland doesn’t lose at home much. It’ll sting some and get the naysayers all riled up since they blew a 20 point lead

These are the types of losses you really can’t have as a contender. Controlled the entire 1st half and then turned into a completely different team. This one stings. Unacceptable loss

I think that this will actually be a pretty good heat check for the team. They were thinking they were invincible practically. And without Vuc these are matchups that aren't supposed to go their way. Would have pulled it off probably without the silly foul issues. Once Jones got neutered it was over.

He won’t have the opportunity to grow as a player on a team that has ZL, DD, NV and LB on it like he would on a lesser roster, where he would get more usage and shots

yes, he could end up a very good player with the bulls still. But just because you don’t care if he ever becomes an all star, doesn’t mean his max potential couldnt be that if in the right situation

it’s kind of the same thing with coby white. Could he end up a solid player with the bulls? Absolutely. But, he could probably develop more as a player if he was in a situation where he was getting 25+ min a game. When he was drafted, the bulls had those minutes available…now? Not so much

it’s not a knock on PWill to suggest trading him

Also, not convinced we are seeing peak ZL yet even. He continues to improve. His defensive rating is currently at a career best mark, he’s developed a post game this season, and he’s rebounding at a career high rate this season…probably because he knows rebounding help is what this team needs, so he does it

there’s no reason to think he won’t keep evolving and improving over the next few years still
It would have to be a trade with the future in mind if they trade him. Unless you're getting an absolute steal of a veteran. I.e. Zion is demanding a trade and his value plummets based on that (kind of put him in the vet category because who knows how long his knees will last. He's like a shorter Andrew Bynum with more perimeter player skills).

Not to be cliche and throw Kawhi's name in, in regard to PAW, however Klaw played with a balanced Spurs offense with 3 HOFers and great coaching. Definitely a little bit of a parallel (not claiming this Bulls team sniffs the Spurs - just dismissing the claim young guys can't develop with a bunch of good players surrounding them).

Coby White has a lot of skills and has a lot of talent and room for growth. But how many players fit the prototype of a ball dominant guard? I'd rather place my bet on one who can consistently shoot and play good defense.

Defensive rating is a formula based on how the team defense does with you on the floor. It's a measurement of team defensive success only accounting for player X's minutes while on the floor. LaVine is becoming a solid defender and no longer is a liability and I give him credit. I wouldn't exactly call him a big difference maker on that end either.
