Shit, lets do some work - ok, from this list we need 15 finalists.

  • Cornerback Eric Allen
  • Defensive end Jared Allen
  • Offensive tackle Willie Anderson
  • Cornerback/safety Ronde Barber
  • Wide receiver Anquan Boldin
  • Offensive tackle Tony Boselli
  • Safety LeRoy Butler
  • Running back Eddie George
  • Wide receiver/kick returner Devin Hester
  • Wide receiver Torry Holt
  • Wide receiver Andre Johnson
  • Defensive end Robert Mathis
  • Linebacker Sam Mills
  • Defensive tackle Richard Seymour
  • Wide receiver Steve Smith
  • Wide receiver/special teams Steve Tasker
  • Running back Fred Taylor
  • Linebacker Zach Thomas
  • Wide receiver Hines Ward
  • Linebacker DeMarcus Ware
  • Running back Ricky Watters
  • Wide receiver Reggie Wayne
  • Defensive tackle Vince Wilfork
  • Linebacker Patrick Willis
  • Safety Darren Woodson
  • Defensive tackle Bryant Young

That's my 15 finalists right there.
Kind of a weak list to be honest. I mean a lot of very good players but not a lot of “household names” there. Which helps Hester. Talk to fans of any team and they instantly know DH. Players seem to have nothing but love for him too.

Agreed. The WRS on this list are all back logged. I forget the order but Wayne and Boldin cant get in until Smith goes. Or vice versa. I think Steve Smith is first ballot. But every other WR will have to wait.
In order of rec. yards, it goes

Steve Smith
Reggie Wayne
Andre Johnson
Aquan Bolden
Torry Holt
Hines Ward

So Smith goes and the rest will wait.

The list is primed for Hester and Peanut IMO.

Ware and Seymour are two that seem very worthy to me.

Very interesting. Still not as valuable as the others.

Frankly, I dont care about the opinion of someone who likes ugly-assed dogs, which the lower economic class has an affinity toward.
Another day, another alt.

I told you dicklickers that Hester never gets in the HOF 12 years ago. Nothing has changed.

One of the few bright spots on this pus-filled pimple of a franchise in the 2000s, hope he gets the call

Thank fucking god the Bears had Devin Hester or I doubt they would've even made the fucking playoffs that year.
