Just listened to 670 with the college dude guy… yeah, that is my MFing description.

He said the only way Ryan Day leaves for the NFL is if a marquee location reaches out.

Soooooo…. Nagy’s friend becomes the next homie?
Yeah that’s another thing…… Nagy and Day are good friends. Why would he go to the team that just fired his BFF?

with all the salaries in the B1G, Day is about to get paid. He can probably use the Bears as leverage to get more money from Ohio State. I wouldn't be surprised to see him get 12M/yr

Yep. Mel Tucker is making $9.5m/yr. More than most NFL head coaches.

Yea so make him get paid more. Put a 10 mil offer out there and see what happens.

Pete left USC because of multiple NCAA investigations and violations, set that program back for years and they've never recovered. Just saying!
It was a two year bowl ban. They would’ve been right back to competing for national championships after the ban.

Even if you disagree, the point is, even some great college coaches jump to the NFL to take over a mediocre team, because the NFL is the highest level. Plenty of examples beyond Carroll.

I have a feeling that michigan could probably beat the detroit lions if they played them today.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bears
Imagine losing to Michigan. Ohio State looking like the Bears today.
