He'll be back in KC before the off-season kicks off good.

Who looks at the Bears offense and says, yeah, we need Nagy as our OC?
There will be a desperate team that will look at his overall record, and then make an excuse that he had crappy QBs and never got a chance to work with Fields.

We know better, but a full season off will allow his stink to dissipate a little

I can't see anyone wanting him to call plays at the NFL level after this disaster.

Even though he doesn't have college experience, I think an OC somewhere in the PAC-12 could be a good fit for him. Nobody can really rush the passer out there or cover anyone in the Pac-12, so he can run his little spread offense to his heart's content. It's like he would be playing the Lions with both starting DBs out every week.
I once thought that about fired New York Jets coach Pete Caroll as well as the fired 1995 Cleveland Browns coach. People can learn, grow, evolve, and improve. Nagy will probably sit a year out as someone else said, but you can bet he'll get another shot.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Michigan Wolverines
  2. Ohio Bobcats
Tight Ends coach back in KC.

(1) everyone can see how much he loves the position.
(2) they have a good enough TE that they SHOULD be impervious to anything he may screw up

I actually think he would fit in well as a college coach, depending on the program. He’s a good bullshit artist and motivator probably, which helps with recruiting and keeping a college team ready to play.

His ‘scheme’ could succeed at times against college players who obviously all aren’t going to be playing on Sundays.

Honestly..I don't think he lands anywhere. He has been so trashed by the fan base and the national media, no one will touch him. My guess is he is out of football at a minimum all of 2022 and maybe even 2023. Then he gets some kind of analyst position with an NFL team or a college team.
See Mel Tucker… He proves anyone can be resurrected.

This is true, Mel is doing a phenominal job at Michigan State. IMO, its easier to get resurrected when you fail as a coordinator as opposed to when you are a failure as an HC. Nagy has failed on so many levels...I just don't see him with a job in 2022. Again at a minimum is unemployeed at least a year.

Someone brought up Trestman getting the OC gig. That's a fair point BUT also keep in mind that Trestman was a decent OC to begin with and the Bears offense didn't look as putrid as it does now. He had something to hang his hat on. Can anyone honestly tell me, what 1 positive thing can Nagy hang his hat on at this point?
