Projected lineups (subject to change)

Blackhawks

Kubalik — Toews(?) — Kane

Kurashev — Dach — Entwistle

DeBrincat — Strome — Connolly

Khaira — Borgstrom — Carpenter

McCabe — S. Jones

de Haan — Murphy

C. Jones — Beaudin

Fleury

Soderblom

Get ready for another beating tonight, hopefully Beaudin plays more than two shifts, but not sure I'd want to see him paired with Caleb. Hopefully lots of PP so we can at least see Kane and the Cat together seems like that's only time.

My goodness....this is a really bad team. The funny part is that they think it's effort related....that they are in some prolonged slump. First it's bad coaching....now it's lack of playing "60 minutes" of hockey. This organization needs to open their eyes....you got a bunch of poor to mediocre young players and a bunch of older guys on their last legs.

But sure.....it's just a slump and when they finally play a full "60 minutes".....LOOK OUT!!!

:what:

Fleury somehow gets a boost from hockey gods on that one.

Don't ask how.

Was good to see some depth scoring though.

I’ve seen the Blue Jackets some recently.
other than goaltender, they are playing better than us right now.
They really limit good chances…and they only seem troubled against teams elite at holding the offensive zone, which we are not.
We are a weird team that can bend numbers with a few good shots, but this isn’t a team we can contain easily due to their depth.
Boqvist revenge game…they use him on second and third blue lines and first power play…basically the freaking obvious deployment of the kid.
they have been hard to beat at home, I doubt we are up for what it takes.

Cat-Strome-Dach
Kubalik-Toews-Kane
Reichel/Hagel-Borgstrom-Entwhistle
Carp-Khaira-?

This is the best I can do. It’s where we are at…praying for our 3rd line not to break nightly. At least that trio can give opponents a few scares on offense while mostly hiding.

entwhistle has shown me he should stick as a big 4th liner who can surprise with touch passes occasionally. He gets involved and has decent instincts for creating havoc.
