When should fans expect to see a new GM/HC?

Last time I looked the Bears had requested 12 interviews with only 4 booked....if this keeps up they might hire someone soon to save themselves the embarrassment.

But hey, I did see Daboll scheduled an interview.

What do they have to be embarrassed about that they haven’t interviewed somebody yet? Jesus you come up with the weirdest shit.

Some of these guys might not want to put out the dumpster fire that is the bears.

Sometimes the playoff games interfere with scheduling interviews.
So at the outside, it might be the week after the Superbowl.
Hopefully, we hear something before then, but the playoff games can delay some interviews.

They will sign a new one relatively soon. However, they will not sign a competent one in my lifetime I am sure.

Playoffs can influence HC interviews but for GM it shouldn’t matter.

If it doesn’t take long enough, it was over too soon. Bottom line

I’d expect a minimum of 2-4 weeks.

I would hope they can make a decision at some point within the next week.

I have to add, not sure if they will even get through all the 1st interviews within the next week at the current pace of interviews vs how many candidates have been announced.

So, based on that, the more realistic timeline would probably be some point during the week of the 23rd for them to hire the GM.

Me sitting in a conference room with Teddy in a meeting to decide the GM for the Bears. "So Ted, who do you like for GM now that the interview and investigations are complete." Whatever his answer I'm scratching those names off the list of GM's.
