But anyway, I respectfully disagree. I had this same argument last year where I insisted he should play LT. A few posters said either OT spot was fine...and added that it would be disappointing if he got relegated to RG. The goal posts keep moving.

If he has more back problems it wasn't worth it. And Pace knew he had a back injury before he drafted him.

Like I've said before, some Bears fans would think it was worth 3 draft picks for a low skill position player as long as he was a starter on the Bears crappy, no depth roster.
Teven's back could make the decision to trade up look very bad.

If it holds up, and Jenkins becomes a fixture on the O-Line, even at guard, then Pace deserves credit for drafting him.

Borom and Braxton Jones both look to be very good at tackle, making me forget about that big monster out of the University of Minnesota the Ravens got at pick 110 in this draft.

What about the 5th rd rook?
Played as expected. Somewhat susceptible to bull rushes and good at redirecting speed rushes. He need's another off season of weights etc but he'll be a good one. Kmet's blocking could have been better and helped more. That was a bit disappointing after the reports from camp but it's one game and smaller blockers suffer more from footing.

Sorry for triggering you. And yes, I have kids.

He was literally trying to insult you about having kids. Due to the Suburban's video capabilities, I can probably recite about 10 Disney movies since they play non-stop in our car. 4 kids under the age of 7

I am a little concerned there was talk of trading this guy. Bears aren't in the position to be too picky about our OL right now.
I figure much of that chatter was the Bears being tough on him to buy in and accept the new program, lower weight, and him at Guard. A bit of a take it or leave it/us situation. He bucked up and fell into line. And now he's trucking guys vs. missing practice. Good choice Tevon....

I love that he got up just to stay on him and push him back again after Fields got by. That was an awesome block that allowed Fields to escape. Didn't pick up on that live. Thanks!

And then he kept blocking too. He allowed Fields to get those few yards instead of a loss

Jenkins motor is the most impressive thing about him imo. That dude doesn't stop until the whistle blows and is always looking to make the next block. I've been incredibly impressed with him overall but his motor is why I want him on the field. With a QB like Fields who can extend plays with his feet, having a mobile offensive lineman is such a huge luxury because he will get up field to make that next block if Fields takes off and runs.

Teflon Jenkums will never be a success in Chicago because we traded away a 3rd round pick to take him.

This is the biggest meatball logic I’ve heard

Nothing impressive about a guard you trade a 3rd round pick for!

According to black rainbow , Kyle long was the worst pick in bears history because he was a guard taken in the top 20.

Like who in their right mind would ever draft a guard in the first round?!?!?

Jenkins can play at G or T and play well IMO.
I will be happy for a mauler at RG.

A starter is a starter, and if he can make a difference on the field, then nobody cares about when or how he got on the team.

That's because you're lying about what's been said.
