Good video - watch at about the 10 min mark - Fields basically runs into the sack

Noticed the same against GB — his pocket awareness is not good at this point - goes along with pass 2 yds past the LoS last week

O-line much better than advertised here on CCS … and getting better. Run blocking is ranked 2nd in the league.

Plain and simple, Fields needs to get better.

They are still pretty bad

We are gashing teams in the run because they are sending their de’s off the edge every time allowing for more run lanes.

Pretty clear that opposing dc’s want the pass to beat them. This line is still not very good

Can't pass block worth a shit.
and yet after 3 weeks JF has the most amount of time to throw compared to every other QB. Stop blaming the OL for JF playing bad...

Agreed. For as mobile as he is, he just doesn’t seem to have a good feel for pressure in the pocket.

Watching highlights it looks so easy for him to take a step here or there and they’d be huge play opportunities.

He will get better as soon as the game slows down a bit.

For as immobile as Brady is, he is amazing at taking small steps here and there to avoid pressure. He had an amazing play this past week where he ducked under two defenders and ran for more than ten yards. Slick play

I disagree a little.

Yes the tackles get pushed back but Fields could have easily seen this on the play where he trips over Jones.

Fields had plenty of time to drop it off to Herbert I think in the flat or just step up and run for ten plus yards easily.

Or he could have taken a better angle around Jones for way more time and or run.

Given the resources spent, this line is really really good.

I think with more time they will develop into really good players and great oline.

The tackles rushing up isn’t the only reason we gashed them for 280 yards. Look those plays, the blocking is excellent.

Nice to see some cool run play design vs Nagy’s debacle of run concepts.

Yup, and it's getting glossed over because today's league is obsessed with passing. I know it's not possible, but if a team could run the ball like we ran it against the Texans every game, and the defense could hold their own, they would go undefeated and win the super bowl. Not flashy. Not what ESPN wants to see. But it's an age-old recipe for winning football, and if we turn into a running/defensive team... I'm good. I've never been a QB/passing guy anyway. Too finesse. Too west-coast. Give me bruiser-ball and a good defense any day of the week.

Thats a misleading stat. He can run so he naturally creates more time to throw.

Legit has nothing to do with what I said.

Said the DE's are crashing wide/hard on every play and not staying home no matter the down. Jurko mentioned this too.

It creates massive running lanes. Teams clearly don't care about the bears gashing them on the ground because they haven't proven thus far they can do anything in the air. It's a smart gameplan, and one thats worked for all 3 teams who have faced us.

Not saying the OL isn't doing a good job in the run game as well, but its pretty clear most of these teams are forcing justin to beat them and he cant.

Brady also works in a system where he has quick hitting routes. Our routes tend to be
looong developing

You do realize that these numbers are skewed due to the sample size, right? Notice all of the QBs with limited passes near the top of that list? I'm guessing you've never taken a statistics class and math is not your strong suit.

We're talking about 11 games with Nagy and a 3 game sample size in a new offense that features Mustipher being pushed back into the QB's lap on every other pass attempt and EQ as WR1.

Stop using magmatically skewed statistics to support your poor argument, retardd.

Also, that car is ugly as fuck.

Justin yearns for the one read homerun ball like his days at #ohiostate

Re-watch the Clemson game and tell me how many of those passes were 'one read?'

While you're at it, re-watch the Michigan game, Nebraska, Rutgers, Penn State, Michigan State, and many others.

How many times did JF get to read 3-5 in these games?

Remember the 57 yard TD vs clemson? That was his 5th read.

If you can't understand facts, you should just stop posting.

I wonder if some people subconsciously want to blame the offensive line's performance for Fields' shortcomings as a QB, or just assume that because we all thought the line would be pretty bad coming into the year, that means they're bad.
