Germany, and UK are two of them. What else does that leave?

Netherlands and Spain had an NFL Europe team, but I think the most successful would be two in Germany, London and Scotland. I still like the concept of putting a development league over there. Then again, I would be fine with an official D league in the US.

Nice to see what you think about Europe but c'mon, won't there be a better name for Berlin?

Like Berlin Döner or
Berlin Curry Wurst

I would probably do London, Dublin, Scotland and Munich to start. American Football is now the 2nd most popular sport in Germany so could possibly do 2 German cities.

Not sure what the viewership is like in France, Spain and Italy so would targrt them maybe as part of a 2nd expansion or if teams like the Jags end up trying to relocate.

Biggest issue is actually taxes as players would be getting taxed almost 50% so may need to actually have a tax adjusted salary cap.

I can't imagine how the NFL will handle the workers rights in EU.
The law allows each worker to look for his own working place. Trades and drafts won't fit it. Typically, it's not possible, f.e. 5th year option, to make options for one side. If you want to that, there has to been a team AND player.

Seems like something that would fail tbh. Lack of talent for one and I could also see those teams struggling to attract FAs. A developmental league would be an intriguing start - I always thought if a development league was going to be successful it would have to be spearheaded by the NFL and not something like XFL.

Did anyone (Americans and Europeans) actually gaf about nfl Europe before it folded? Is the European economy healthy enough to support this? I exchanged some dollars to euros last week and was shocked how much their currency has dropped

I don't think the nfl's thirst for endless growth and expansion is particularly good for the quality of the game. There's enough mediocrity in the league as it is. I would be against it. Football peaked in the 90s and 2000s imo. It's been regressing since.

Personally think the international games are probably as far as it should go for the NFL itself.

The game itself is popular in Europe though, has been for decades.
