When did you become a believer?

When did you learn JF was the truth?

Pre-draft. Both he and Lawrence played hs ball very close to me. UGA fan, so watched Fields college time there and then at OSU.

Had him and Lawrence at the top, who is 1a and 1b depends who you asked around here, as it’s always been since their high school days.

Wanted the Bears to do whatever to draft Fields. Davis Mills was my guy if they missed out on Fields.

All those lies that contributed to Fields’ draft slide are the best thing that has happened to the beloved.

Never doubted the guy.

He's been in the spotlight since he was 16-17. Guy has been competing against trevor lawrence his whole life, with people calling him not good enough.

My only fear is the bears would ruin him. As far as talent goes he's a generational one at the position. You just dont run a 4.4 and throw the ball like he does. Damn cheat code if the passing game clicks around him.

Pre draft. Had him as the #1 QB ahead of the rest of the class. I said, “Justin will be very very special.”

Thought trevor deserved the benefit of the doubt but I also felt like he kind sizzled out as his college career progressed and went #1 overall mostly due to hype.

No idea why fields fell drastically down draft boards even though he was just as impressive in every aspect as lawrence. Well, I could guess on an idea, but yea.

Lance being taken over him will be worse than trubisky being taken over watson when it all goes down, and I'm guessing lynch/shanny will still keep their jobs.

Lawrence over Fields I got, but Lance over Fields was the head-scratcher. Didn’t get it then, don’t get it now.

I was confident Fields would at minimum be a top 15 QB the moment he was drafted, because of his athletic ability. Today I’m confident he’s a top 10 QB. He hasn’t reached top 5 status.

After watching the documentary where he won the Elite 11 camp. Didn't know much about him when he was drafted.

I knew he'd be legit after I saw him play in person. I've seen a lot of great players over the years back when Nebraska used to be good. Never seen a player make it look so effortlessly like he did that day. He was making pinpoint throws all over the field. Then if someone got close to sacking him, he'd go scramble for positive yards.

You look at the box score and it doesn't look insanely impressive (15-21, 212 yds, 3 tds, 12 rushes, 72 yds, 1 td) but he did it all in 3 quarters. If Ohio State had wanted to, they could've probably put up another 20 points. That 4th quarter was essentially both teams running the clock out and trying not to let anyone get hurt. It was as dominant as any QB I've ever seen in person, the Huskers couldn't stop him. I was convinced he'd be a star at the next level if whatever franchise that drafted him didn't screw things up.

I was a believer before the draft. I think I woke up the whole neighborhood when the trade happened. I did lose a little faith this year, it was rough for a minute.
