11/25 passing attempts had pressures which includes the 2 sacks. 11/25 passing attempts equals 44%. The Dallas Cowboys have the league's highest pressure rate at 29.3%. The Bears as a team have a season pressure rate of 26.8%.

With 3 hurries, 6 pressures and a 20.7 pressure % and 2 sacks was a statistically a pretty good improvement over the average of what the jets have been dishing out, and also a big statistical jump over what the average has been for the Bears pressure of 26.8%

If our OL was as bad as you want it to be in defense of Fields then the Jets would of padded the defensive stats.. instead we hurt their averages and helped our own OL averages.

I'm sorry if you cant use the OL to defend fields anymore but it is what it is..

no we dont average it out, different sources might have a slightly different cut off for a pressure vs not, but we need to keep with the same source pro football reference in this case for everything so its the same, otherwise you are cherry-picking. So comparing the jets pro football reference stats to Trevors pro football reference stats is meaningful, Trevors ESPN stats vs the Jets NFL stats VS Fields pro football stats is useless and again cherry-picking

The coaching staff has to hide oline deficiencies.

That is not something that is going to show up in a stat line or even most advanced metrics.

Because the coaching staff has done an excellent job of protecting them by rolling Fields outside of the pocket ever down. If they called plays where field’s simply dropped back to pass they would be the worst

Agreed, I also wonder how these stats have changed/improved over the season as the offense has scored more. I'm surprised at the bears rating with all the sacks, especially early on.
