You would think being an ex-player should give some gravitas to your opinion, but the second you say hit Justin Herbert at the 18 second mark, you expose complete ignorance. How the fuck do you hit a guy that 1) is never not a blocker and 2) has his back and back of head turned to you and is 3 feet away from you as the guy you just whiffed on is plowing your QB..

I thought what he was saying there was it was a qb hit given up, ie not a sack, and that the qb hit was given up by Khalil Herbert - that it was Herbert's blocking assignment that hit Fields. Therefore, it was not the fault of the offensive line on that play.
