I don't follow college, wasn't Mahomes like a raw prospect coming into the league kind of like Rodgers? like you needed an Andy Reid to build that monster. Bears never had coaching that disciplined to build quarterbacks. I don't think Cutler ever would've been top 5 but he definitely regressed going from Mike Shanahan to Lovie Smith and Ron Turner and only got worse over time with how reckless the Bears do virtually everything.

as great as Mahomes is and I like watching him play, he demonstrated 2 years ago in the Super Bowl that if the rest of the unit isn't up to snuff, you can't overcome that. I really hope Poles understands this unlike the other 6 GMs before him.
