A few days old article on the coaching problem in the NBA. Really good stuff here, even though I will disagree with his assessment on Ty Lue:

The Miami Heat. The greatest 8th seed of all time
Wrong

The 1998-1999 Knicks were an 8th seed and went to the finals. So as of today, they are still the farthest an 8th seed has gone.

Also, side note…when does Tatum time start?? You’ve talked about it for years, still waiting on that ?

I don't think Miami has enough offensive firepower to get past either Boston or Philly. Last year, they lost to Boston in 7, and that was with Herro playing in 3 of the games. Went 2-1 with him, 1-3 without. Also, they don't have Oladipo, who was decent for them in the Philly series last year.

Against either team, I would pick the Heat to lose in 5 or 6. And I'd only give them a game or 2 because of how hard they play. Otherwise, I would guess a sweep for other teams in a similar situation.

I'd like to think so, but I didn't think Miami would beat Milwaukee either.

Well.... shows what I fuckin know hahha.

Boston could very well come back and take the series... but holy shit is Miami shocking me.

Boston is still favored to win the series.

But, Jimmy Buckets is a fun watch. Grant Williams wanted the smoke and Jimmy gave it to him

The Celtics being whiny bitches concerned at all-times outside of the game, rather than focused on ball like under Stevenson, led them to give a gassed out, tired feeling his age Butler all the rage adrenaline he needed to burst into his second wind and curb stop them without resting on his knees again.

Yeah, it'll obviously come down to the next 2 games. If Boston takes both in Miami, that's a huge advantage for them and I'd think they'd win the series. if Miami goes up 3-1, it's over.

At any one time Miami has three better shooters on the court than anybody on our team.

Kinda weird considering how mid Miami was all season from 3, but they're getting hot when it matters

They remind me allot of the 2011 Mavs. They just caught fire at the right time with a star that is unstoppable.
