Josh Hader gave up yet another Hr. A walkoff.

Remember when he used to be tough to hit?

Addison Reed just put on wavers. He was in rehab from a impingement in his arm. But the results were 88 MPH. if he clears and picks F/A then any team can sign for league min.

He really seems like a target for Jed. Sign and keep with the rest of the reclaims

Why do people insist at throwing shit at a wall and hoping it sticks? The bullpen and starters have an ERA under 3 since our 2 and 7 start. Our bullpen has been one of the best since that start. We have Strop coming back then we have the trade deadline and will have more info on Morrow. We dont need a steady closer at this time. Thats just a head thing for fans.

The official Cardinals Twitter account loves to post how fast Jordan Hicks throws, and brags that he has the seven fastest pitches thrown this year. (He hit 107 I believe)

Fortunately for other teams, he throws hard, but is not unhittable.

He gave up three in the ninth last night without recording an out, and the Cards blew a 3-0 lead and lost in 10.

Cards' reliever Jordan Hicks has a torn UCL.

The team is discussing what steps are next. Tommy John surgery is a possibility.

I'd think the only options are Tommy John (or some other form of repair) surgery, or retirement. Honestly.

Cards at Reds.

3rd inning with Reds leading at this point 2-0. 2nd and 3rd, no outs. Fly ball to the wall in CF, and Joey Votto does not advance to 3rd. 3-0, as the runner from 3rd walks home.

Puig pops one into short RF, and legs out what is scored (generously and incorrectly) a double, as Jose Martinez fails not once, but twice to pick up the ball. Votto is standing on 3rd. His second complete fuck up on the bases in as many plays.

A K and a fly out later, Votto is stranded on 3rd.

We have a new "worst baserunner in the league". Joey Votto, come on down!

Doesn't seem like him to do something like that. Usually he's pretty heads up.

LOL. Reds miss a chance to double off the Cards to end the inning on a fly ball to Puig. Votto didnt get back to first to double the Cards player off. First pitch breaking ball put on a T for a grand slam.
