yea...I watched a bit of it. I turned it off when it got to 6-0. Just not competitive enough for me

Not sure who the top women's teams are in this year's Cup...but I'm guessing Chile and Thailand aren't in that group. Hard to know how good the US really is at this point. Sweden usually gives them trouble.

USA, France, England and Germany are the top teams. Sweden is good, they could give USA a run for their money.

Looking forward to the reaction that will come if Sweden wins today.

I've seen some athtletic teams(Cameroon/France), and some skilled teams (Netherlands/England)...but the team that has everything + everything else they want on the bench is the U.S. They are clearly a dominant unit of skill and fitness and forceful size.

England is phenomenal with the ball...but I don't see them holding up to a team that has both athleticism and can tilt the field with them and knock it about fairly. They are small and fragile and slow even if they are the best I have seen ever from a womens team in terms of footwork and ball touch. Germany or the U.S. will pound them physically and likely beat them to too many balls and get the better of chances.

USA is overall the best team in the tournament. They have skill and they're athletic. France and Germany are good, but not on the USA level. France needed help to beat Nigeria. If France doesn't watch out, I could see them losing to Brazil in the next match.

Unfortunately
why is that unfortunate? I think it's good that they're the best. My only complaint is that they're just way too talented compared to the rest of the teams, so it kinda makes it boring to watch their group matches. If you fielded an all star team of the world cup players, half the team should be American players.

if Morgan is out it levels things a bit.

My take, Morgan is easily replaceable with any of the three immediate subs on the bench, but mainly Lloyd. Personally, after Dunn's 2 defensive gaffes last game, I would start Ertz at outside back, which has the benefit of keeping Mewis starting in the midfield.

Norway was clearly superior to Australia.

The U.S. is unparalleled from what I have seen. It will take VAR and a fluke bounce or two to deny them.
