Anyone that says Portillos is good is clueless. I grew up with legendary burgers and dogs from the best places in Chicago: Gene and Judes, Nicks, Superdawg, Tastee Hastee, Assembly.

It is a big, big city. Short time to be there but probably not the last visit. The Soldier Field tour sounds good. Ditka’s, not so much. Take one of the previous recommendations for steak houses to which I would add Maple & Ash.
