Trade down to around 10 and pick up a second and third somewhere. Use that first round pick to draft Kizer. Use the second and our own second to move back into the first. Draft Mahomes. The Bears then have the two most talented QBs in the class. That would give us three franchise QBs.

So, you saying institute the Pace plan for the secondary with the QB's as well?

Draft one of the two guys in this draft that are rated where they are based only on their arm strength and physical talent. What could possibly go wrong?

They also have great accuracy. Remember that.

Yes, in a draft chock full of needs like secondary, passrushers and tightends, let's go QB the whole draft

I mean......some of the other idiots with their mock drafts that include trade downs at least put in some thought before they post.

What you're proposing is not only improbable, you're suggesting the bears trade down and take 2 top half of the 1st round quarterbacks.......its just not feasible or makes any sense for the bears. Arizona, New York Jets, San Francisco, Cleveland, Buffalo, Washington, Denver, Houston, and KC have all been linked to at least 2-3 1st round prospect quarterbacks. You're not only going to get the better of the 2 (Kizer) trading down to "around 10," you're going to somehow leapfrog one of these teams eyeballing quarterbacks in the 1st round to get the other?

First, who's trading up to 3 and why?

Second, when are you trading back into the 1st round and which team is going to listen and approve said trade up?

Third, what happens to your plan if San Francisco, a team that really likes Kizer--takes him #2 overall?

Do you even watch the bears? The bears aren't one quality starting quarterback away from contention.......they need all kinds of help in the secondary, DLine, OLine, WR, and TE. Taking 2 quarterbacks, especially in the first round would be counter-productive, you do see that, right?

I'm afraid to even ask at this point, but you do know Madden =/= real life GM, right?

Right?

Jesus fucking Christ the draft needs to be done with. Some of you idiots just baffle me......

That's like betting on every horse in the race.

If you are not comfortable drafting one of them, don't. Using TWO picks to end up with, hopefully, ONE QB, who at best is not elite, is just plain dumb.

This is one thing I guarantee they will not do. I think they like a couple of these guys, but we won't really know until after day 1.

I like that mock draft however I would go with CB or the TE from Ole Miss in the third.

How can they all become franchise QBs at the same time?

Obviously I'm on board with Watson. I'd be surprised if Obi and Kamara are there when we pick in the second and fourth rounds. I'm more of a Josh Jones guy - the Obi tape I've watched he looks like an elite athlete for sure but he'll need to be as his instincts are not there yet. Just didn't seem to make as many plays as he should.

As an aside, notice how easy the rest of the draft is when you take your QB at 3. You don't have to second guess anyone, you can just go BPA in a deep class.
