Is Pagano ruining this defense?

I had a feeling this would happen when he was hired to replace Vic.

His lousy defenses with the Colts held them down his whole time there, and he seems to be on his way to ruining this unit as well. Guy has never proven a thing in the NFL as a defensive guy. He came from the Ravens, where everyone and their grandmother had successful defenses because of Ozzie's personnel evaluation.

We built a lead then Pagano switches to soft coverage and they start moving the ball pretty easily.

The off coverage when up by several scores is to make sure they don't give up a quick TD.

Like a baseball team playing "no doubles" defense, you may be slightly more likely to give up a single, but less likely to lose.

The Bears played great defense until under 40 seconds left in the first half. You are up 28-0 against a bad team and are worried about big plays with that defensive talebt!?! To me it is idiotic and a losers mentalitty to go soft. What I watched iis a defense playing to their talent level for almost 2 quarters, and then looking like the Giants the rest of the way.
