Tell ya what, i've watched every Knights game out here in Vegas, and so far this season their defense has been crap. Fleury has been stealing points for them the same way Lehner has been for the Hawks.

This has all the makings of a 6-4, 7-5 type of game. Flip a coin as to who the winner will be.

But if you're a gambling man like myself, i'd take the over in this one.

I ended up taking the Hawks at +210 and -1.5+500 because out here in Vegas the Vegas Knights line is the most skewed in town. I knew we had never beat them but by now these players realize they never had beat them...and the system abonden, I thought the line was wrong given the way Vegas was playing.

And I can't remember seeing a +500 on a reasonable match-up of 2 average teams.

Glad to see the victory. Was 2-1 Vegas when I checked before turning in. Badly out-shot again and certainly have to keep working toward reducing that stat of allowing 37 SOG's on average; good to see the D notch some markers.

I said before things started Vegas might do as Montreal from last year: earn ~95 points but miss the Playoffs. Fleury is being leaned on heavily again; still no capable back-up. They've no top-line D that can rattle opponents at both ends. Despite adding Pacioretty - Stastny - Stone to a core of Marchessault - Karlsson - Smith that high-octane offense from two years ago is hanging around middle-of-pack now. This was a game Chicago could win and did.
