This time last year, I told you that I qualified for an energy assistance program for those of us with low incomes. The State of Illinois provided me with 2 brand new furnaces and two air conditioners (unfortunately they didnt replace the 3rd furnace/AC) and additional ceiling and door insulation. The total they spent on me was $15,000.

So, I received my Nicor bill and for the last 2 months it looks like I'm saving between $75-100 per month. It's quite a blessing to those of us on a fixed income as every penny counts. Just thought you all would be interested in the outcome. Thanks to everyone for your support!!!!!

So you got a deal that the average consumer could never get. The residuals will be horrible if they discount this much new, but leasing the car is genius.
