Wonder what kind of contract that’d look like. I’d be interested to give him a shot just depends

Windy probably knows but becoming off a Achilles tendon injury and haglund deformity on his heel. Maybe a cheap one year prove it deal?

Eric Berry would probably get a one or two year deal and would probably be a bit cheap.

He's injured and on the wrong side of 30.

If guys take a year off and aren't on a team, can they use steroids/HGH? I would.

Eric Berry is the epitome of a great man and great football player. It would be an honor for him to don the blue and orange. Yes, he has been injured, but I think he has a quite a bit left in him. Everyone dogged him for getting bested by Gronk in the AFC championship, but he had good coverage for the most part, just oversized like most are against Gronk.

Fill me in on his situation please. I know he's been out & hurt but

Why would he not return to KC with a good shot to chase a ring, even if on a similar short term cheaper deal?

Did KC let him go?

He was released by the Chiefs last off season and is a FA.

Well you wonder if these off-season recruitments are coached up by Nagy.

Berry having a tie to Nagy in K.C. or no? Certainly to Andy Reid who could put in a call to Nagy/Peterson to get him a job. There is a deep enough connection there.

Bad enough that we are constantly trading away draft picks, but signing high priced free agents for name value instead of recent production or fit into system is worse. Do we really want to be the Redskins?

High priced? If the Bears were to sign Berry, it would be for two or three years and it certainly wouldn't be high priced.

Hell yes, bring back HaHa too and Pagano can finally run his dream system.

I'm sure Woods is not a player in Pagano's dream system. = p

Bears will bring back Kwit and KPL. Also I think it would be Haha, or Berry, not both, but likely neither and Bush.

Works for me if he can run for an entire season. My concern would be that he didn't get the surgery for Haglund's deformity so it's irritation could flare up again during the year. Doc's would need to take a close look at that.

I cannot see him getting more than a 1 year deal for 2-3 million with nothing guaranteed and incentives to take it up if he can actually play.

I am fine signing him under those conditions.
