Hope no one gives it to him. He padded his stats lots this year in garbo time.

Should I actually feel BAD for Jerry Jones?!?

Zeke I get, but Dak isn't worth this. He's good, but jebbus - does he want to play with a bunch of cheap scrubs?

Ask Russell Wilson how his "Legeon of Boom" defense was gutted when he got his monster deal. Salary cap hell is real Dak

What does he make if the Cowboys franchise him?

It's the average of the top xx salaries that are playing your position or something. He'll still make a ton given the inflated QB salaries.

Dallas should hardball him and not even offer him one, lol

There is a chance a new CBA gets signed prior to the new league year which could make the tag more expensive.

As it should be. Players should be able to enter FA without being held hostage by their former teams.

Lol Dak thinks he's a top 3 qb.
Pace should offer jerry a straight up trade for mitch. Bring dak's ego down a bit.
I'd do that in a heartbeat. In fact i'd probably trade mitch for 6th round pick at this point.

On the contrary, I hope Jerry Jones gives it to him. Fuck the Cowboys. Nothing would be better than for them to let him eat up 15-20% of the cap.

33-35-37 million doesn’t matter it is structure and guaranteed that matter.

I would take Dak on the Bears.

He might not be elite, but he is good and consistent.

There is no way in hell that Jerry Jones lets Dak walk. Not a chance.

Dak is going to get paid whatever it takes unless if Jones has something else up his sleeve.

With the new CBA coming up, the $35 or $40M / year for a QB might be chicken feed by comparison.

This whole situation is weird. Jerry Jones is an idiot for offering him $35M but Dak is also equally stupid for rejecting that much money because he’s not even worth that. It’s like both parties acting against their interests is going to be better for them both in the long run.

I think he might. The 9ers paid a lot for jimmy before he even really played much meaningful football. There have been a lot of garbage qb contracts. When teams see qb, they overpay.
i.e. Mike Glennon

I was looking for exact figure.
He may be after a single year 40 million dollar payday----Cousins got paid big time to turn down contracts too!
