We had 9m at most before the foles trade.

We prob have nothing or a couple mill left now.

Unless we cut players like Patterson we are done signing guys.

Pace might as well go all on and sign Gordon and push more money into the future to fuck his replacement.

He was going to count 15 million this year so if they restructured that probably moved more money into future years when Pace is likely gone. LMFAO.

It is just pathetic that Pace can't trade Floyd when Floyd immediately signs a deal that may be worth his exact 13.5 million but yet has to give up a 4th for a QB with minimal long term upside. He is just terrible at negotiating. Overpays a lot and can't get anyone to do so for any of his assets.

it depends on who wanted Floyd at what money.....if only one team wanted him for that money you can't trade him.

On the phone, he is probably like the Jaguars GM on Draft Day talking to Kevin Costner

Don't know, he immediately signed with Rams for the same money as he was going to get albeit with 3.5 million of the 13.5 million converted to incentives. I suspect if Pace had actually tried to move him before signing Quinn, it may have been possible even for a late rounder pick.

But even still, I would never have granted the 5th year option in first place. Said that before last offseason when everyone was saying he would have a big year this year now that he was healthy, LMFAO.

from the looks of it the giants had interest too but bailed after seeing the cost go up to 10 mill plus incentives. If that is indeed true it explains why no team wanted to trade away a draft pick and take on his 13mill price tag

whatever hes gone, time to move on

We aren't done signing guys. Teams always have ways to create space that fans don't quite understand how it happens. I see this happen every single offseason. Why do i have to say this so much and every offseason around this time?

Hahaha this is so funny and so easy to say when coming from people on the outside looking in that have absolutely no clue all that goes into being a GM, especially around this time of year. For you to actually think that there could of been a way to trade Floyd but our GM couldn't figure out how is absolutely laughable. How do you know he's terrible at negotiating? How do you know if he had a choice to not overpay to get the players he got? You must have answers for these questions so i'm just curious? Do tell?

I would think all of Mack, ARob, E.Jackson, K.Fuller and A.Hicks could get their contracts reworked.

I don't mean all of them will which it kind of reads that way but mean i could see a couple out of that group getting their deals worked on.

Financially, the Bears are going to be a disaster of epic proportions.
