    Every announcer, pundit and expert said Herbert missing the punt block cost us the game, and he misses key blocks every game. Herbert has a role, but its as back up. Wish we didn't need a RB that can block, but we do. Monty is key to our success, Herbert is easy to replace.

    I get the impression Fields is a leader in name only as QB. At least to this point. Great competitor with a high energy, but doesn't seem like he'd be offended if he wasn't listed as a captain. Monty is recognized as a leader by the players because he sets an example, "tone setter" someone...

    Need to script more passes to Monty vs having him as the 3rd checkdown. Cement is useless, Moody and Monty are the only guys you can throw a 3 yard pass on 3rd and 8 and hope to get the first down. Good pass blocker too, we simply can't lose Fields.

    Yup, a quiet leader is the best leader. Current and previous coaches say he moves into a leadership role while not necessarily seeking it. Just first guy in, last guy out kind of leadership.
