If Stan won't do it I absolutely would get rid of Stan. Its unconscionable to allow this situation to remain. Your players are old, they don't have time to waste. Man up and do what needs to be done. If Stan is in the way, remove the obstacle.

Highmore Dach could solve some, but I dont think they trust Highmore at the dot either. That is why it almost has to be smith or Carp, let Kampf just play on that fourth line. Dach could have been working on his dot talent in the OHL against bigger players than he has faced so far. All he is being used for is if the center you want to take the face off gets tossed.
